Day 2 MLB All Stars

7/7 Rise and Shine and that we did!! Off to the Flats!! (A section of Cleveland)

The USA women’s soccer team WON!! The fans in the pub went wild cheering!! So much fun!

Next we headed to Play ball park! A baseball fan’s heaven! Interactive games, auctions, and all kinds of memorabilia. We spent several hours there.

Into the convention center we go..

I ended up buying my husband a gift then I bought myself a Mookie Betts..American League Jersey. We left the convention center and went back to the winking lizard tavern for a couple of drinks, pizza and chicken wings. First time I’ve seen mounted police in Cleveland.

I decided I wanted something sweet and found a cookie store open till 3 am and it was only a half a mile away. Ah ha…. roads blocked making the walk more like a mile.

Also on our route we passed a Hilton hotel, BAM….players were staying there! There were dozens of black cars parked out front of the hotel. Finally we got to Insomnia cookies.
